| Saint Mary of the Hills School is a diverse center of learning, attracting
families from 18 different communities in the Milton/Boston area. The
New England Association of Schools and Colleges accredited Saint Mary
of the Hills School in 2002.
The mission of Saint Mary of the Hills School is based on the core belief that each child can, through hard work, encouragement and support both at home and school, realize and recognize his or her unique potential. Our community is devoted to the joy of learning, grounded in our Catholic faith and inspired by the love of Our Lord. The faculty of Saint Mary of the Hills are exceptional, dedicated teachers whose primary mission is to encourage students to focus on and master the core academics, but also to encourage each child to become independent thinkers and writers. Saint Mary of the Hills is a school where students are not only expected to work hard and be prepared for class, but to also become “seekers of knowledge and truth”. Our curricula are based not only on the Massachusetts State Frameworks but also the guidelines developed by the Archdiocese of Boston. Our curriculum is age-appropriate and yet challenging. Many of our graduates are not only accepted into top-notched Catholic High Schools, but also many private schools as well. In addition to the academic life of Saint Mary of the Hills, our students and families are provided with many opportunities to come together socially. Based on interest, after school programs are offered to our students and these activities are lead by both teachers and parents. Evening socials are also planned to bring parents together just “to have fun!” Parents are encouraged to become active in the day-to-day events through our Parent Teacher Organization. Please take time to tour our web site, read our Philosophy Statement to see who we are and why we as a community of parents, teachers, students and parishioners believe Saint Mary of the Hills School is such an extraordinary, loving place. Warmly, Mrs. Vasta |
