Xaverian Brothers High School Christian Senior Service

| This spring St. Mary of the Hills school community has been extremely fortunate to have three outstanding seniors from Xaverian Brothers High school perform their Christian Senior Service. They are Nicholas Blaire from Randolph, Andrew Lyne from Abington and Sean Wilcox from Milton. Their time flew by and they quickly became part of the St. Mary of the Hills School family. Nickye Blaire stated, “The students dedication to learning is just stunning. I’ve never seen a school before where all the students are eager to learn and spread their knowledge about the world around them.” The boys have helped in small tutorial settings, assisted in classes with direct guidance from the classroom teacher, but the highlight of the boys’ and children’s day was when they were out on the playground helping to organize games or simply playing with the students. Nickye Blaire also stated, “I thought Xaverian was the only school that had teachers that cared about their students and wanted them to do well in school, but I was wrong. The teachers show the same dedication and heart as the student’s do and that really says a lot. To be honest it seems that St. Mary of the Hills is a flawless school; it’s led by great principals, has unbelievable teachers, and most importantly has phenomenal students. With all one’s heart this is a school parents would be proud to send their kids to and a school students would be happy and fortunate to attend.” Our school will miss them, but we wish them well on their graduation and time at college next year. |
