There was not a star that shone brighter than the students at St. Mary of the Hills on April 4th and 5th. Under the direction of Ms. Stephanie Brittian, Ms. Alexia Etienne and Mr. Eddie Paris, the middle school put on their production of “The Wiz” at Fontbonne Academy in Milton.

Based on the classic “The Wizard of Oz,” and with a cast of 62 students, “The Wiz” follows Dorothy through Oz as she meets all of the characters we know and love…and hate. Everyone was accounted for such as the Witches of Oz as well as the Scarecrow, the Tinman, the Lion and The Wiz. Through superb acting, singing and dancing, the crowd watched Dorothy and her friends gain the brains, heart and bravery to make it back home.
