It has become a tradition at St. Mary of the Hills School, to process to church, crown Our Blessed Mother and participate in benediction. Children in Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and Grade 2 wore their Sunday best and all other students were in uniform. Our Student Council acted as Honor Guard and our Student Council president, Jeremy Bristol, crowned Mary.

After the crowning at the Church, the children in Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and Grade 2 processed back to the Mary Garden where Abby DaCosta (Grade 2) crowned the statue of Mary.
