St. Mary of the Hills Middle School
Students of the Week

Each week at St. Mary of the Hills Middle School, one student at each grade level is honored as Student of the Week. We have many wonderful students at SMOTH Middle School and this is one of our opportunities to recognize them.

The team of teachers chooses students based on a combination of progress, citizenship, grades, conduct, and service.

This privilege is meant to show off those students at SMOTH Middle School whose behavior is an example for all of us. Throughout the week, these students receive the following recognition:

A phone call from the Principal over the weekend
A reward card and announcement at Morning Prayer on Monday
A bulletin board is put up for the week with pictures of the student
An article is placed in the News from the Hill
A special treat at the end of the week

Week ending October 24:

Grade 5 – Delia Ryan has adjusted well to the higher expectations of fifth grade. She has shown great leadership skills and work habits and is very helpful in class.

Grade 6 – Siobhan O’Brien is the sixth grade student of the week. She is always well prepared for class, and participates actively in class discussions, offering great insights. She is good natured and pleasant to everyone. Congratulations Siobhan, you deserve it.
