Special Report!!! The 8th grade just finished performing news reports on how technology influenced combat and the outcome of the Civil War. After exploring the developments of the repeating rifle, ironclads, the telegraph, railroads, improvements in artillery, and improvements in ammunition, they prepared written news reports that they acted out describing the new technology, how it affected the way the war was fought, and its impact on military strategy and specific land and sea battles.
