Seventh Grade Mass

| The Mass that took place on Friday, October 3, 2008, was planned by the 7th grade students and teachers. It was dedicated to St. Francis of Assisi and kicked off as the opening for St. Mary of the Hills School's 50th birthday celebration weekend. Friday's mass was dedicated to St. Francis of Assisi because Saint Mary of the Hills School is a Franciscan school, so it was only fitting that they honor the patron saint of animals, ecology, and Italy on this day. All participated in some capacity at this special celebration. What made this mass extra special was all twenty-eight 7th graders learned and performed a liturgical dance to the song, To God be the Glory. What a wonderful sight it was! |
