Science became alive in Mrs. Etienne's Fifth Grade class. As part of the Life Science chapter, the Fifth Graders took studying Vertebrates and Invertebrates to a whole new level. They brought in their pets, as well as worms, ants, and toads found in the school yard and at home. They had pleasure introducing and showing off their pets which included; parakeet, hampsters, fish and guinea pig. Some spent a couple days and a few of them a week. The students were estatic about this chapter, since they fed and observed the animals daily in their habitats.
