Biography Book Reports

|
On Wednesday, February 11th, the fourth grade presented their biography book reports to their class. The students did a phenomenal job on this assignment and were well prepared for their presentations. We had many famous people in our class on that day. There were several historical leaders including: Paul Revere, Abigail Adams, Betsy Ross, Eleanor Roosevelt, Susan B. Anthony, Matthew Henson, George S. Patton, Jr. and Neil Armstrong. We also had some people who stood up for freedom and equality in the world: Abraham Lincoln, Rosa Parks, John F. Kennedy, Ruby Bridges, and Gandhi. We met two very saintly women: Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton and Mother Teresa. Some very famous Native Americans stopped by to share their stories with us: Geronimo, Sacagawea, and Pocahontas. Some extremely athletic characters stopped by as well: Bruce Lee, Jennifer Capriati, Sammy Sosa, Tedy Bruschi, Tom Brady, Jackie Joyner Kersee, Tiger Woods, Ichiro Suzuki, Alex Rodriquez, Curt Shilling, Sasha Cohen and Mia Hamm. Some more creative characters we met were: Walt Disney, Mark Twain, J.R.R. Tolkien, Leonardo Da Vinci, Louis Armstrong, Harry Houdini and Henry Ford. There were two Jane Goodalls who came on that day, this was the scientist who did much research with chimpanzees, but we are still not sure who the imposter was! |
