General Description of Club:

Students in Grades 1 and 2 are invited to join Spanish Club with Sra. Boinay and Sra. DeLosh. This is an after-school program that will teach some elementary Spanish vocabulary and some aspects of Hispanic cultures through songs and activities.

Some of the topics we will cover include: greetings and courtesy expressions, the days of the week, the months of the year, numbers to 10, colors, and weather expressions.

The program will include six classes for a fee of $30. We will meet on Thursday afternoons beginning February 26. The schedule of classes is as follows:

February 26, March 5, March 12, March 19, March 26 and April 2.

All meetings will run from 3:00 to 4:15. Students should plan to bring a healthy snack including a small drink. We will meet in Mrs. Flynn's classroom on the second floor. At the end of the school day, students should line up in the hall outside her room. Parents may pick up their child at that same spot at 4:15. Late pick-ups will be sent to the after-school program where additional fees may apply.

Enrollment is limited to 20 students. We will register students on a first come, first serve basis.
