WELCOME
Welcome to our St.
Mary of the Hills Parish community! If you are new to the parish, we hope
that you will become an active part of our parish family. Please introduce
yourself to one of the priests after Mass or stop by the Rectory. For
your convenience, there are registration forms online.
(Download and print this
PDF file* and return the completed form to the Rectory.) Packets
are also available at the rear of the Church. Or call or email
us and we will be happy to send a packet out to you.
Special note to
newcomers (from Fr. Wright's letter to parishioners, September 9, 2004)
We extend
a special welcome to you and pray that you will find a warm home
here that nurtures and supports your faith. We invite you, and all
our parishioners, to join fully in our life at St. Mary’s.
We serve the community through worship, outreach, education, social
activities, sacra-mental preparation, and comfort to the sick and
those who mourn. Feel free to call on us if we may be of service
to you in any way. If you have come to us from a parish that has
closed, please know that we, too, are very saddened by the shuttering
of churches in the area. While we cannot know the pain of this in
the same way you experience it, our hearts go out to you as our brothers
and sisters in Christ. If you have suggestions on how we can more
fully appreciate and incorporate the experiences from your previous
parish, please let us know. Comment cards and a box are available
in the church. If you would like to become a member of St. Mary ‘s
parish, please register (see below). I’d like to meet you personally
to welcome you to our parish family.
Take a look at our new newsletter (PDF*)
for a snapshot of life in our parish.
Also, see how we described
our parish in April 2004 in a letter to
the Archbishop during the process of Reconfiguration. (It
includes a list of communities from
which children come to our School and a list
of the recipients of our tithing program,
as well as reference to our ministries.)
